Merging

Tomorrow, (hopefully) I'll find the time to do....well, something that may not please y'all. I'm merging BBT with B1000. Leastways, right now, I want to. Why?

1. It's hard to keep up 2 different blogs that talk about the same stuff.
2. Both are, fairly, BO-RING. (admit it)
3. I have way too many blogs on my hands.
4. It'll be easier with the template and all, since I've been meaning to change it...but haven't yet.

Yeahh...er, so that's why. Another thing, B1000 seems to exemplify ME more than BBT does (after all, I'm still obsessed w/ the bk). BBT is getting too, well, pointless, and B1000 actually does have a point.

So after tomorrow, you all will have to go to B1000 for more BB updates. That is, unless I get some vehement protestors that DEMAND and convince me to I stay put.

In which I talk of...well, random stuff.

This is not a rebirth of the old Random Remixes, which were thoroughly annoying in their prime. But yes, this is a post about random blah-blah-blah.

Google Reader. What a handy little overwhelming tool. Yikes. You know what happens when you get lazy for, eh, I don't know, three months? You get 215 items from about 30-something of your friends' blogs. Not that I'm complaining, since y'all write such great blog posts, but it's actually a ton of fun to look through so many posts at one time.

Butterfly Forest. Woohoo! Finished my album review. It'd be real nice of y'all to go check it out! Don't forget to check out the poll!

Kiki. The little rascal of a dog. She won't eat her doggie food; she'll only eat food off the floor, and when she does that....well, I hope none of you are eating something while reading this, but she...never mind. So this afternoon, she finally decided to eat her doggie food (reluctantly), with her tail right between her hind legs. She might as well grumble, too, while she's at it. *roll* Another thing; so in our house, the door to the backyard has a window, and near the door is Kiki's bed. So I went to the backyard to check out how my dad was doing (he's doing a little woodwork project), and decided to practice some Irish dance steps, since I'm going to Irish dance day camp starting tomorrow. Lo and behold, my canine starts barking at me from inside the house. Note well, my friends, that Kiki is like the little annoying sister in the movies and on TV that tries to do everything her older sister does. Yep, that's Kiki alright. She starts barking her head off at me as if to say, "Hey! What are you doing out there? I want to come out too! I want to Irish dance!" Oi, and have I told y'all about Kiki's aversion to the song "Memory", from the musical Cats? When I get in spazzy mode (which is often and somewhat frightening ;-) ), I start "bark-singing" "Memory", and, whaddya know, Kiki starts joining me. Like howling and barking along. I've recorded it...but it's awfully strange and I don't know how to put it on here.

Anyway, so that's that. For B1000 readers, I may make the blog public again, and I hope to have a post written up in a few mins.

YouTube, Netflix, and Lists

I'm BA-ACK! Again.

Anyway, I got a YouTube account! It's right here, so if you want to watch my fave vids or friend me, go right ahead and do so. Enjoy! And yes, that I am indeed subscribing to country music artists. *is very proud of self*

Anyone who gets movies from Netflix? I've seen so many movies already (I've been listing them) and, well, we've been getting a lot of cool stuff!

Speaking of lists, I've been making a ton of lists lately: favorite books, favorite movies, and how I compare to the typical teen (the last of which I found 25 MAJOR differences at least). If wanted, I can delight you all in lists in those (Netflix movies seen, favorite books, favorite movies, and the differences lists).

Another thing: I've been needing to change the template. I shall be doing that soon and try to post more on both here, B1000, and BF. Sorry for holding y'all up! :(

Last but not least, I have a sort of survey question for everyone: What's the best book that you've read this summer, not counting re-reads?

While I was gone...

Hmm, seems like everyone disappeared for a week or two, missed the computer, and came back today. Do we all think alike or something?

Anyway, I was thinking of posting about this article on LRRH, but I didn't want to spawn any "controversy", so I hope this is ok to post here. I always thought that there should be age restrictions on books, but....well, what do y'all think? B/c I always hate it when I want to read a book and have to go through tiresome research to simply find out whether it's clean, so, personally, an age restriction (like MPAA ratings, if you're still confused) would be great for books.

Opinions?

Blogged out?

Maybe. I'm not so sure why, but I'm just not into blogging--and at times even going on LRRH--as of late. So just to let you all know that BBT is definitely going to be slowing down. It's just that there's not much to talk about, and, like I said before, a lot of the stuff I say is "blah blah blah", "yada yada"--things not fit for classy readers like yourselves.

As for B1000....well, I shall try to post more on that this wkend, and for those of you who asked to be invited (Faith, Verity, Anilee, spider), I have sent all of you an invite. It's never too late to ask to be invited, so you can still contact me (or leave a comment). Thanks to all who asked to be invited. :-D

BF? I'm still working on the album review, and...well, I just have to finish it. Sorry for another long wait, you guys.

Oh yes, and LRRH? I'll still be going on, but I'm going to slow my visits. You know how often I used to go on before? Like 30-40 some times! Today? I only felt like going on once--I caught up with everything, and that was that. I'm still going to be responding to PMs and such that, but I just won't go on LRRH so much.

TTYL!

As anime would say, "To Whom Who Cares"...

...b/c there must be quite a few of you, or how else could I have 1600 something visits? OK, it's less than that, since it took me awhile to figure out how to make the thing not count my visits.

Anyhow, if you read my latest comment on the below post, I've been thinking recently of making B1000 private. I most probably will, as the majority seems to not care for it too much. It'll be open all day today, but at night I'm making it private.

So if you want to keep updated on it, leave a comment on here, send me an e-mail, PM me on LRRH, just somehow inform me if you want to be a B1000 reader. I'm not going to automatically invite anyone, just to anyone who asks.

I've also been thinking about maing BBT private, too. I know, I've thought about it before, but I actually might this time.

Bliss!

Butterfly Forest is back on track officially! Right after writing up this post, I hope to get some new reviews written up. Next is an album review, and if you don't know which one it is yet...well, I won't tell you, it'll be a surprise, but IT'S NOT A COUNTRY ALBUM. Yes, you'll all be "le gasping", but it's not. Will y'all read it?

Next, on B1000, I'm going to write another new post about fictional characters. Ooh, how fun! I hope y'all will stay in tune to B1000, b/c there will be a lot of interesting posts on there. I'm telling you, you don't want to miss it.

Another thing I've been wondering. I need everyone's help on it. Do you think I should move to B1000, since most everything I talk about is MOLD related? Opinions, please!

On the Fifth of July...

...I shall talk a bt about the Fourth of July. We didn't get to BBQ (though we will next wk or something), but I did end up getting a stomachache all day. Fun, eh? *roll smilie*

Anyhow...BB news is that I'm working on my movie review (thanks to SophieCouture, b/c of her comment on my blog I was reminded that I should really get to work on it. I'm sure most of you know what it is already, but for those of you who don't....well, it'll just be a surprise then.

After my review, I hope to work on my B1000 post on B1000. (sounds strange if you say it aloud *lol smilie*) Then, hopefully, I can write some more reviews (but not necessarily post them), and finish up Sisters Grimm #2: The Unusual Suspects. Wow, that bk is good! Even better than the first, I have to say. I'll do a review on that, too, of course.

So, since I have lots to do, and apparently this wk was Foreign Language week, I'll say "Au revoir! Adios! Aufweidersein (sp?)! Ahn-neeng-gah-say-yo! (Korean, btw)"...I've ran out of foreign languages.

[edit: my movie review is now published. Please stop by and take a look at it on Butterfly Forest!]

Happy Fourth of July!!!

I was planning out how I should start out this post last night, and the first thing that came to my head was "Auld Lang Syne". I know, random.

Anyhow, so...wishing y'all a happy Fourth of July! I'm not doing much today, it's just me and my parents (and Kiki, of course), and just doing the usual: BBQ, putting out the flag (which we just did about half an hour ago, more or less), etc.

What about y'all? Also, what do y'all think of Blog of a Thousand Days?

[edit: something new I found--there are a total of 174 comments on this blog, 53 posts, meaning each post averages 3.2830188679245283018867924528302, whatever that number is. ;) )

If MOLD couldn't get any worse...

...because it can. Leastways, to me. I dunno about the rest of you, but I think my MOLDiness has gone very, very, very far. Just check this out. It's just starting, but...just keep watching it! :D

Schweet, schweet, schweet.

I'm a happy person. Why? I saw the best country band on the universe last night. Now just who would that be? SUGARLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my goodness. It was FANTASTIC! OK, so maybe I didn't have the best seat so I didn't get a chance at catching a guitar pick. And yes, the person behind me spilled wine on my seat. And yes, I was by myself. But, geez, were they GOOD!!!

They played 16 songs (one more than LeAnn Rimes did when I went to see her), and the ones I can list off the top of my head are "Baby Girl", "Speed of Life", "Want To", "Settlin'", "Everyday America", "Something More", "Who Says You Can't Go Home", "All I Want to Do", "County Line"...and a few more.

So...any Sugarland fans?
